On behalf of our client in Richmond BC, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for two Senior Fullstack Developers for a 12-months contract opportunity.
Role: The successful candidate be responsible for developing one or more parts of application systems (systems of engagement and/or systems of record) and integration with other systems, including designing to fit into existing architecture, prototyping user interface, implementing, unit-testing, and integrating the components that are part of the solution.
Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Developer is typically assigned to high complexity work.

Participates in activities that support the team’s delivery and continuous improvement of various application components at the same time.

Supporting other developers within the DevOps pod including mentoring and promoting a respectful and collaborative culture.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
-
6-9 years of experience working in in-house software development environments.
-
4+ years of experience working in agile cloud environments.
-
Extensive experience using agile and devops tools, techniques and processes.
-
Significant experience in leading the development cycle (design, develop, integrate, test, prototype).

Significant experience participating in all activities that support consistent, and high quality team delivery, especially in small team and complex enterprise scale environments and accustomed to collaborating with interdependent teams and removing impediments.

Can test code (manually and automated) all the way through to production, as well as document tests for audit and reusability.

Experience with Microsoft Stack with technologies and frameworks including .Net, Angular 6 and up.

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification like SAFe Practitioner, or willingness to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of work.
Nice-to-haves:

Exposure to microservices is preferred.
