Job Description:
We are seeking a Front End Bakery Clerk to join our team. As a Front End Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting customers with their bakery and deli purchases. This position requires flexibility to work weekends and shifts from 6:30am to 9:00 pm. You will be responsible for slicing deli and bread, providing customer service, and serving at the hot table.
Responsibilities:
o Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
o Provide information about bakery and deli products and services.
o Slice deli meats and cheeses as per customer requests.
o Slice bread as per customer requests.
o Maintain an organized and clean bakery and deli display area.
o Receive and stock bakery and deli inventory.
o Operate bakery and deli equipment, including slicers.
o Serve hot table as per customers request.
o Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements:
o Ability to work weekends and shifts from 6:30am to 9:00 pm.
o Excellent customer service skills.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
o Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
o Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
o Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
