Job Description

Proactively encourage MSC’s customers to make full use of MYMSC platform. To do so you need to keep up to date on the latest developments and implementation stages and make our valuable customers recognize the added value these tools will have for their business. This will include but not limited to onboarding new customers, virtual demos for new and existing customers.

Proactively follow up on customers enquires while providing ad hoc support and follow-up on/respond to sales leads if/when human intervention is required. Act as escalation point on billing and booking issues while the BGE’s are on sales visits, ensuring to provide feedback to BGEs.

Make quotation to new and existing customers, ensuring the rate inbox is up to date with only daily enquires. Secure best cargo mix to meet the quarterly and net contribution targets set as per model ship. Maintain professional relationships with customers by contacting them via phone and email.

Maintain and monitor of existing and about-to- expire contracts, including on carriage rates, in line with Trade approval, as well as customer’s commitments. Developing existing small accounts to the point where they can be assigned to a BGE.

Liaise with client service, operations, and finance departments to provide our customers with an excellent customer experience. Get market intelligence from customers and relay information to sales and trade.

A minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a Shipping or Logistics company within selling/negotiating and customer service is an added advantage.
