Are you passionate about local food culture? We're Foodee, a team of food experts on a mission to connect local restaurants to businesses through our corporate catering platform. We help corporations spread the power of good food by curating menus from top local restaurants and delivering them to your office.
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative who is excited to form relationships over the phone, loves to educate customers on platform products and is passionate about supporting local restaurants by connecting them to great corporate orders. This is a hybrid role supporting both the restaurant and client sales teams by building a robust sales pipeline for both stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be based in British Columbia, working PST business hours. We are not offering sponsorship or relocation for this role.
This is a virtual opportunity, with a pay range of around $60,000 - $80,000 OTE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To understand Foodee's ideal restaurant partner and qualify prospects based on Foodee's qualification to join the platform

To own the client buyer journey from aware to interested, converting leads to meetings/demos

To prospect outbound leads through cold calling, email, and use of chat, identifying key decision makers

To create and manage a robust sales pipeline

To conduct discovery calls with prospects to qualify interested restaurants and clients

To maintain a current understanding of the competitive landscape, and key differentiators

To interpret data to understand opportunities and improve conversion

To contribute to overall team success by regularly meeting or exceeding sales targets, supporting team members, and striving for ongoing achievement

To cultivate a collaborative, productive, and inclusive environment with Sales, Marketing, and Foodee team members

To demonstrate proficiency in CRM use and hygiene

To strive to continuously improve your sales process, learning and implementing best practices.
REQUIRED SKILL SET/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 1-2 years B2B sales or marketing experience (Saas preferred)

Strong pipeline and CRM management (Salesforce & HubSpot)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Confident, friendly 'people person' who can establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Self motivated and adaptable, with desire for growth

Organized, results-driven, and a good time manager
