Role Summary:
Our Bike Mechanics are responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of 90 rental bikes. Our fleet is composed of DH, Enduro, and valley mountain bikes as well as E-Mountain and E-Valley bikes. Our Mechanics will also assist with guests, rental bike set-ups and rental/retail operations as necessary.
- Completing and tracking rental fleet maintenance
- Completing fleet servicing to a high standard.
- Organizing rental bike prep for the following days bookings
- Order requests for service parts and rental spare
- General cleanliness standards are set at store opening, maintained throughout the day, and reset at close of business, including light janitorial duty
- Speak authoritatively on technical matters as they relate and pertain to our bicycles; be the expert.
- Assist customers enthusiastically and courteously
- Develop and maintain knowledge expertise of all merchandise in department to effectively assist customers with accurate information; keeps current as new product lines are introduced

Experience & Qualifications:
- Build, service, and repair bikes from Kona, Scott, and Norco
- Experience servicing Sram, Shimano, and MicroShift drivetrains
- Experience Servicing Fox and Rockshox suspension
- Experience replacing frame bearings
- Experience bleeding and servicing Sram, Shimano, and Tektro brakes
- Experience replacing spokes, truing wheels, and building wheels
- 2 years working in a bicycle workshop
- 1 year customer service experience
- Passionate about bikes!
You will have: A minimum of 2 years bike mechanic experience leading a workshop and be confident with all aspects of bike servicing and repair in particular; brake bleeds, drivetrain servicing, wheel truing/building, fork lower servicing. Professional & dependable, high attention to detail and passionate about biking.
