Job Description
Under the direction of the Operation Manager the Sales/ showroom representative will be assigned to various tasks within all aspects of the showroom and sales. Assist with the effective operation of the Studio. The incumbent will greet clients and assist them in product and services to best fit their wants and needs. You will work alongside the other members of our team to present and sale the custom wood products per customer request.

· Develop recommendations for new business opportunities by prospecting, and or working with existing customers
· Maintain relationships and increase sales at existing accounts
· Representing our products at events/shows, internal and external to our facility
- Initiate and process purchase orders based on approved requisitions and orders from internal teams
- Verify order accuracy, including product specifications, quantities, pricing, and delivery dates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between customer order, production requirements and business needs.
- Act as a primary point of contact for suppliers and partners, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.
- Provide regular updates on order status, delivery timelines, and any changes that may impact the supply chain.
- Keep promotional materials updated in the showroom
- Assist in inventory management through documentation process and annual inventory counts
- Other duties as required.
Part II – Position Specifications
Work Experience Requirements:
2+ years of experience in sales or wood related manufacturing
Education Requirements:
High school diploma/GED.
Required Skills
· Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
· Class G drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
· Teamwork and alertness.
· Attention to detail and organization.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
· Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer requirements and provide recommendations
· Working knowledge of wood processing industry
· A team player who takes pride in their work
· Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour.
· Basic math skills
· Knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset
· Willingness to learn product lines
· Ability to read tape measure is critical
· Knowledge of wood types, terminology and industry an asset.
· Ability to follow workflow processes and policy and procedures.
· Health and Safety oriented.
· Ability to follow technical drawings is an asset.

Salary: $18.5-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM
