Job Information:
We’re looking for a smart and capable Technology Specialist to work in our hardware and maintenance lab, and act as
an important voice in the future direction of PATTISON Outdoor Advertising’s digital ad network.
What you’ll do…

Build, repair, and install Linux onto a diverse range of computers.

Assist in creating Debian-based install images, and test new hardware.

Ideally some light CAD design work, experience with Fusion360 or equivalent is an asset.

Sort, test, and certify a wide range of outdoor LED components on a testing bench.

Identify problems with returned equipment and assist in root cause analysis

Test and assemble kits of equipment for new installations.

Participate in post-mortem discussions and planning sessions to increase our hardware resiliency.
Who you are …
-
Excellent written communicator (ability to produce clear, comprehensive notes)

Understand of electronics, familiarity with PCBs and the internals of electronics

Extensive experience with computers and ideally experience with repairing them.

Someone who is comfortable finding a better way to do something, even if the old way has been going on for years.

Ability to read a mechanical drawing.

Well organized individual with enormous attention to detail

Valid Driver’s license
