Position Overview
The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships. The ideal candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and be committed to achieving company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy aimed at achieving sales targets.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, projects, and partnerships aligned with Iris Construction Management's growth strategy.
- Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities to achieve business targets.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure client needs are met.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to senior management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and seminars to stay up-to-date on market trends and network with potential clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role, specifically within the construction industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a collaborative attitude.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
