Job Description

Interface with Electronic Component Groups, Suppliers, Purchasing, Quality and Assembly Plants to develop Electronic Stability Control, Electronic Braking Actuation Module, Wheel Speed Sensors, and Clutch/Brake pedal sensor/switch components.

Manage product performance to meet vehicle and component level functional, cost and weight targets.

Update specifications and requirements to meet latest best practices.

Collaborate with interfacing groups to understand and develop future roadmap strategies for Active Chassis Components.

Mentor DRE engineers to ensure consistent product knowledge and development methodologies.

Co-ordinate with Global Subject Matter Experts to establish component commonalities, cost reduction opportunities and warranty sharing improvements.

Support AQP, PSO, product launch and problem resolution during vehicle launch gates.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Computer / Mechanical / Automotive / Systems Engineering, or a related field of study Detailed Knowledge of Electronic Stability Control systems Calibration and diagnostic experience using typical automotive controls system development environments.
Intermediate knowledge in automotive communication protocols (CAN networks, Electrical/EMC requirements, Environmental requirements, FMEA, functional safety analysis - - ISO 26262 norm, etc.)

Intermediate knowledge in automotive vehicle mechanical and electrical system architectures (e.g., distributed control systems).

Knowledge of systems engineering principles, hardware, and software design concepts.

Knowledge of testing and validation tools.

Proven record of interpreting requirements from design to production.

Knowledge and execution of change management processes.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
