"·5G Cloud Packet Core Experience (1-2 years) – AMF, SMF/UPF, NRF if possible
Network Design & Architecture - Able to Design 4G/5G Lab based upon 3GPP Spec
Instantiation / Integration Experience - Able to integrate Kubernetes Cluster, Instantiate and Integrate Interfaces
Networking Experience & Troubleshooting - Able to verify Calls flow vs 3GPP Spec and troubleshoot as needed
Experience with Container based Architecture and Kubernetes as well as current cloud infrastructure systems (openstack, vmware, KVM, AWS)
4G / LTE ePC Core expertise MME and GW – SGW, PGW, ePDG, preferably with Nokia CMM/WMM and/or CMG platform, but other vendor packet core experience is also acceptable
Thorough understanding of LTE and/or 5G Call Flow – looking for hands-on capable folks that can read a trace, troubleshoot 3GPP call flows.
Comfortable with Data Collection and Retrieval procedures, working on live systems.
- LTE Network Performance Experience is appreciated
IP routing knowledge/experience is appreciated
KPI (Key Performance Indicator) Analysis, must be able to understand KPIs as they relate to call flows and 3GPP Specs
Strong communication skills to be able to defend their work / technical expertise in front of Nokia’s customer and other vendors
Able to synthesize the relevant functionality of a feature from Nokia Documentation that pertains to a specific customer network implementation and propose scenarios that demonstrate/defend the feature.
Nokia ePC certifications highly preferred.
Excel/PowerPoint/VB Experience is preferred to program, create and customize reports
You will be working on analysis and delivery of engineering design of LTE Packet Core & IP architectures (High Level Design = HLD and Low Level Design = LLD) , and as per evolution to virtualization, you will have to design these solutions in cloud/virtualized environment, using Openstack or VMWARE. The design may include also interconnection with transport backbones and backhaul networks for IP/MPLS-based IP Routing products (7x50, 7705 and SDN/NUAGE solution ), WiFi (hotspots, WiFi offload, VoWiFi- EPDG), these solutions could be HW based or VNF as well in a cloud environment.
