Overview
The Ethoca Networking team is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to drive our employee experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role
In this position, you will:
- Maintain company-wide network management and support for both LAN and WAN including but not limited to production & development environments both on-prem and in public cloud
- Effectively coordinate changes of high complexity and impact with vendors, service partners and other business units
- Ensure PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance for network systems and participate in 3rd party security audits
- Prepare high quality documentation
- Work efficiently in a high security environment
- Communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization and with external partners
- Participate in on-call shifts, our infrastructure runs 24/7
All About You
- Technical and team leadership experience in a 24/7 environment
- An expert in core network skills: routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPN, Load balancers, proxies, TCP/IP, etc.
- Advanced experience with network monitoring
- Advanced/Intermediate Azure public cloud experience
- Datacenter support experience including racking and cabling of IT equipment
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent experience
