Position Summary::
Brock Canada is looking for a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst. As the successful Candidate, you will provide development, support, and integration of fundamental project reports & systems. You will contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle process with enhancements supporting application configuration, design, integration, testing, and implementation. You will report directly to the Project Controls Supervisor, Reporting.
Primary Duties: :
- Strong SQL skills for data integration, transformation, and analysis
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support project controls activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project data and ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Create automated data refresh schedules and ensure timely delivery of updated reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Provide expertise and guidance on Power BI best practices, data visualization techniques, and data governance standards.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and prepare customized reports as requested by project managers and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within project controls using Power BI.
- Solid Financial background is an asset
- Expertise in creating and maintain document control structures in Sharepoint
Minimum Required Qualifications: :
- Proficient in Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret project data.
- Experience in data modeling and transformation techniques within Power BI.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and ability to effectively communicate insights.
- Familiarity with project controls principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with Power BI advancements and industry trends.
- Knowledge in SAP Business One an asset
- Knowledge in SQL is an asset
