Quorum is looking to hire an L1 Support Specialist (Network) to join our Product Support team providing industry leading support to our automotive customers.
This is a business-critical role that maintains our commitment to operational excellence and reliable operations. The L1 Support Specialist (Network) role is primarily responsible for the documentation and support of the end user computing environments supporting our industry leading dealership solutions. As an L1 Support Specialist (Network), you are committed to achieving the highest standards of customer satisfaction through your outstanding, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
Here is what we will expect from you at work:

Identify and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities.

Creation and maintenance of documentation.

Provide 24/7 emergency support
-
Build and grow positive relationships with other operational teams.
-
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, (rotating shiftwork) and occasional weekend shifts.

Work on-call rotation to support operational service level commitments.Functional and Hierarchical Escalation management.
-
Provide exceptional incident management support.
-
Maintain up-to-date knowledge associated with the full range of Quorum technologies, products, and services and can identify how these products and services align to customer need.

Work primarily phone support to our end users.

Other duties as assigned.
Here is the kind of candidate we are looking for:
-
Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent.
-
1 + years of database, network administration, or system administration experience.
-
1+ years of experience providing remote support.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
-
Technical knowledge and hands on experience in end user computing environments
-
Experience in operational automation through scripting and other techniques.
-
The ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) to a wide variety of audiences including multi-functional teams at all levels.
-
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technology rapidly.
-
Experience with Monitoring and delivering 1st Level Support in the following areas:
-
Windows Server 2012 - 2022 operating systems including Active Directory and Group Policies.
-
Windows Remote Desktop Services.
-
Virtualization Technologies, specifically Hyper-V.
-
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or above.
-
Cloud based printing solution.
-
Backup and Recovery Operations.
-
Positive and confident attitude.
-
Ability to work in a customer focused team environment.
-
Excellent time management skills.
-
Experience providing support within ITIL Framework would be considered an asset.

Professional phone and email etiquette and customer service skills.

Any of the following certifications would be considered an asset:

AWS certified cloud practitioner.

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
-
CompTIA (A+, Cloud+, Security+).
-
Microsoft certified solutions associate/expert (MCSA/MCSE).
