We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Senior Network Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.
Location Address: Hybrid (1 day in office)
Contract Duration: 12 months
FTE Opportunity: Possibility, depending on project and need
Typical Day in Role:
- Review and adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands
- Coordinate escalated network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades
- Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems
- Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas
- Develop and implement solutions for network problems
- Work together with other network and infrastructure support teams involved in the project
- Follow the Bank’s change implementation procedures and schedules
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a medium to large corporation or enterprise network
2. 5+ years of extensive experience with VMware and various hypervisor version related activities (upgrades, patches, VM migrations)
3. 5+ years of work experience on various UCS server model platforms
4. 5+ years of experience working with SIP trunking and carriers
5. Previous experience with unified communications such as Cisco or CUCM
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Previous exposure to the Banking/Financial Industry is an asset
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
- Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction

Education:
- Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Salary: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
