Tri-global Solutions Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS) to support testing of new and existing software.
The successful contractor(s) have a start date on or after March 15, 2023 for an initial contract ending December 22, 2023 with possibility of extension.
NOTES ON LOCATION: Work will be conducted remotely. This opportunity is open to resources located anywhere in Alberta. Candidates outside of Alberta will not be considered. Work will be conducted during client business hours, 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM Mountain Time (Monday through Friday, excluding days identified as holidays).

PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Application Development & Maintenance team is responsible for building and maintaining applications to facilitate the internal business at APS, as well for the external clients we serve. In addition to maintaining the applications built in-house the Applications team also supports various third-party software purchased for use within APS.
SCOPE / DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
IT BSA currently has a shortage of Business Systems Analyst resources. To achieve corporate objectives, APS requires BSA contracting services to support new and existing software.
The BSA’s objective is to complete assigned tasks as directed by the Applications Development and Maintenance team manager.
1) Developing detailed user stories and business requirements documentation.
2) Educate business stakeholders and clients regarding system changes and introduction of new features.
3) Liaise with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of their system and business needs.
4) Troubleshooting production issues
EXPECTED SKILLS AND ABILITIES (5+ years)
- Experience executing SQL queries.
- Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Agile Methodology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of best practice, methods, and standards for software development.
- Experience working with Web Applications.
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (5+ years)

Project Deliverable:
- ApsPlan Operational Enhancements or Defects
- General Project and Operational support as required.
