The Senior Advisor position in the Finance Automation and Business Systems team has a key role in the ongoing implementation of strategies for the Finance portfolio. They have an expert level of knowledge of the project lifecycle and demonstrated experience with process improvement and automation. Effective communication to all levels within an organization is a strength as is developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This highly organized, client-focused individual is a critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills and is committed to delivering quality results. The Finance Automation and Business Systems team is the liaison between Finance and Operations end users and the Information Technology department. In supporting Finance functions and systems, the team focuses on business solutions to address operational issues. In our work, the primary dimensions of quality are: Efficiency - effective changes to systems and processes. Leveraging automation technology and other IT solutions to improve processes and reduce time spent on ineffective or redundant tasks. Appropriateness –providing consistent and standard practices in the areas of project management and data quality to streamline processes and improve reporting.
As a Business Analyst, you will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. You will interpret client needs, assess requirements and identify solutions to non-standard issues and requests, provide advice and direction to clients, and contribute to solutions by providing input into strategy, workflows and delivery for assigned projects and programs.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Information Technology or related field required. Demonstrated experience with innovative practices that include Robotics Process Automation and LEAN management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Prosci Change Management certification. Process Improvement methodology (e.g., six sigma), preferably at a green belt level or equivalent. Other certifications or recognized Business or IT designations considered an asset.
