Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior System Administrator who can participate in full system administration process, with the following key responsibilities:
Manage Active Directory domain:

Manage DNS & DHCP network services.

Manage NPS RADIUS server for legacy authentication.
-
Manage Group Policy.
-
Manage File & Print server.
-
Manage server patching with WSUS.
-
Upgrade Domain Controllers as necessary.
-
Upgrade server OS as necessary.
Manage Azure cloud services:
-
Manage on-prem integration with Azure Active Directory.
-
License management.
-
Endpoint management with Autopilot and Intune.
-
Email management with Exchange Online.
Security Response:
-
Monitor and respond to alerts in Carbon Black EDR.
-
Monitor and deploy Cisco Umbrella.
-
Deploy Microsoft Authenticator.
-
Decommission Symantec Endpoint Protection.
-
Review and remediate vulnerabilities.
-
Liaise with US security team.
AWS/VMC/SDDC Management:
-
Provision, build and maintain systems in vSphere.
-
Monitor performance using vRealize.
-
Migrate on-prem workloads to cloud via lift-and-shift and P2V.
Firewall Management:
-
Maintain & upgrade Cisco ASAs.
-
Deploy & manage AnyConnect VPN client.
Telephony:
-
Manage Avaya PBX systems.
-
Manage Call Recording Software
-
Support IP and Softphone Clients
Backups:
-
Maintain nightly backups using Veeam.
-
Manage backup storage with Amazon S3.
Provide first/second/third support:
-
Assist help desk as required.
-
7/24/365 on call for level 3 escalation and occasional level 1/2 backup for team member vacation replacement. Mostly remote work with occasional on-site work for special projects (Toronto/Markham)
Required Skills

Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365

Hours: Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Eastern Time with occasional evenings and weekends for special projects and/or on-call escalations.
Location: Remote. In case of an outage or special projects implementation, the successful candidate must be able to come onsite at 95 Barber Greene Rd, North York, ON M3C 3E9 and/or at 550 Cochrane Dr. Markham, ON L3R 8E2
