Daniel et Daniel Catering & Events, Toronto’s premier caterer is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to lead our skilled and dynamic team.
Daniel et Daniel operates in Toronto’s most exclusive venues including Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Evergreen Brickworks, Steam Whistle Brewery, The Royal Conservatory of Music, The Royal Ontario Museum and many more.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily food production
- Working Closely with the Executive Chef in on-going menu development
- Executing Client Tastings
- Work alongside the Executive Chef and co-workers in a demanding environment
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $27.00-$28.00 per hour
