Now hiring a Health and Safety Coordinator.
Safety background is a REQUIREMENT.
Be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally between workers and, supervisors about health and safety concerns.
Must have or be willing to get Confined space entry and awareness and Working at Heights training.
Maintain good relationships with Workplace Health and Safety field officers.
Investigate workplace hazard reports and safety concerns. Develop safe work procedures, safety reports, and maintain appropriate records.
Aid in investigating and reporting workplace injuries and incidents, including recommendation to prevent reoccurrence.
Relay required safety information to all employees.
Complete internal audits as required.
Complete hazard assessments of all Division job functions
Contribute positively to creating a safe and secure environment.
Provide information to employees on health and safety.
Start Date March 2023 for 2+ months
Shifts: 6:30am-2:30pm
Scope of work: filling out permits, review for accuracy, working with customers Safety
Co-ordinators, computer tech savvy skills required, good communicator.
First week customer to provide site specific indoc. training.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Salary: $40.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
