Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. If you're passionate about designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge network infrastructure and have a deep understanding of Azure technologies, we'd love to have you on board.
Responsibilities:
- Azure Network Design: Lead the design and implementation of network solutions within the Azure environment, aligning them with the company's business objectives and industry best practices.
- Network Optimization: Monitor and optimize network performance in Azure, identifying and resolving issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Security Management: Manage and enhance network security within Azure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protecting our organization from threats.
- Integration Expertise: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure network infrastructure with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and a positive end-user experience.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure network configurations and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest Azure technologies through ongoing training and certifications, and share knowledge with team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
- Experience with Azure technologies such as Networking, Security Center, Firewall Policy Management, Virtual WAN,
- Experience with Solarwinds Monitoring, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Orchestrator, Silverpeak and Cisco Platform upgrades.
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewall Management and Palo Alto Firewall Orchestrator.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal direction.
- Willingness to work after hours and on weekends as needed.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
