● Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to comprehensively understand project requisites, guidelines, and deadlines.
● Utilize your expertise in WordPress to create custom themes, templates, and plugins that align with design mockups and functional requirements.
● Ability to integrate external systems and platforms, such as CRM and POS, ensuring smooth data flow and operational efficiency.
● Use staging environments to thoroughly test new features, functionalities, and design changes before pushing them to live websites.
● Integrate third-party APIs and tools as needed to enhance website functionality
● Optimize website performance and loading speed, guaranteeing seamless user experiences across diverse devices and browsers.
● Tackle troubleshooting and debugging with alacrity, promptly devising effective solutions to uphold seamless project delivery.
● Implement technical SEO best practices during website development while collaborating with digital team, including optimizing site structure, meta tag, image alt attributes, robot.txt, schema markup.
● Implement robust security practices to safeguard websites against vulnerabilities and potential threats
Qualification
● Strong grasp of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
● Experience with PHP and MySQL, enabling you to build custom functionalities and database interactions.
● Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development, with a strong understanding of the WordPress ecosystem.
● Proficiency in integrating and customizing e-commerce solutions within WordPress, such as WooCommerce.
● Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git.
● Strong understanding of the challenges and solutions related to cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
● Familiarity with performance optimization tools and techniques, including server-side caching, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), and lazy loading, to achieve lightning-fast website loading times.
● Experience with RESTful API integration to connect WordPress websites with external systems, services, and data sources, enhancing website functionality and user experiences.
● Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio showcasing your work and technical capabilities.
● Basic knowledge of on-page SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Effective communication skills, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
