About the Role:
Reporting & Oversight
The Senior Vice President, Commercial reports to the C Suite and will be responsible for overseeing and managing all commercial aspects of Avmax.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

Identify measures that contribute directly to Avmax's commercial objectives.

Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy. This involves identifying market opportunities, & industrial trends, defining target markets, and creating plans to maximize revenue and market share.

Develop strategic alliances with OEM's and industry partners.
-
Develop effective business plans and establish realistic key performance indicators (KPIs) for the company to track short term & long-term goal.

Oversee pricing strategies, ensuring optimal pricing for products or services to maximize revenue and maintain competitiveness in the market.
- Maximize business opportunities and the company's overall profitability, as part of the senior management team.

Oversee operating units' financial accountability and controls; ensure appropriate fiscal controls are in place to meet statutory compliance and integrity of data and statements.

Ability to manage the sales, marketing, and customer services functions within agreed budget.

Collaborate with other departments to efficiently utilize company resources and identify high-quality solutions to commercial problems or opportunities.
- Work with the marketing team to create strategies that boost the company and product awareness.

Building strong and collaborative relationships with relevant internal & external stakeholders.

Study industry trends and create an effective business plan based on commercial opportunities.
- Create and execute commercial strategies aimed at accelerating growth.

Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company, or as directed by the C- Suite.
Qualifications
-
Master's degree with specialization in Finance or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and senior management and leadership experience will be considered.
- Advanced knowledge of the aviation industry.
- Demonstrable experience of managing operational performance within financial budgets.

Excellent management, negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Solid judgment and critical-thinking skills.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Able to interact with staff across all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment, and can direct and work in harmony with a diverse group of highly motivated and capable individuals.

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret financial documents and spreadsheets.

Experience
-
10 years of progressively responsible experience with at least 8 years in management.

10 or more years in the aviation industry or similar.

Familiarity with Transport Canada regulations is essential.
