The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For:
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and potential referral sources serving the Senior Home Care market in Calgary and surrounding areas.
- Increasing the number of new clients.
- Meeting with health care professionals, and other resources, to increase the number of potential client referrals.
- Participate in ongoing Alivio Care workshops and training
- Participation in Alivio Care community events when requested, upon mutual agreement
- Attending health fairs, trade shows, group meetings, and seminars in the industry.
- A successful candidate must be comfortable with a range of selling styles - from cold calling to formal presentations.
- Converting prospect calls into Client Consultations.
- Creating new client plans of care.
- Making follow-up calls to convert prospects to Client Consultations.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with seniors preferred.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and a professional presence
- Attention to detail.
- Proven sales experience preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly and perform in a fast paced and dynamic market.
- Professional phone skills.
- Critical thinking.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work alone or in a team.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within Calgary and surrounding areas
- Must have relevant business vehicle insurance.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced challenging environment.
- Ability to meet set targets.
- Willing to bring new ideas to the team.
- Flexibility.
- Current police check and vulnerable sector search (or be willing to get one)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and conversion of prospects to clients
- Experience with computer applications.
- Experience creating and implementing a variety of peer to peer activities.
- Experience making values-based decisions that focus on what is best for patients.
Work Environment:
Client home setting, senior residencies, hospitals, and office based. Laptop provided.
This role will report to the Care Manager
