We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with experience in PHP, Java, and Ruby to join our team. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend architecture of our applications using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Reporting to the Development & Innovation Manager, you will serve as Senior Backend Developer.
Your Job Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Design and develop and maintain backend applications using PHP, Java, and Ruby
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain APIs
- Write and maintain efficient and scalable code
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development
- Follow Agile and Scrum methodologies to plan and deliver software development projects
- Integrate code using Bitbucket code management while adhering to the build and branching processes
- Perform Code reviews and mentor junior developers
Key Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on PHP, Java, and Ruby
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Experience with web frameworks such as Laravel, Spring Boot, and Ruby on Rails
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with version control systems such as Bitbucket
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with code reviews and staff mentoring
