Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Business intelligence developer to join our Montreal development team. Note that ONLY Quebec Residents will be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze business reporting requirements.
- Design and implement BI solutions.
- Analyze and standardize existing reports.
- Set up and maintain data sources.
- Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting.
- Collaborate with team to integrate reports and subsystems.
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
- Provide raw data and processed reports in requested formats.
Soft Skills
- Ability to consistently understand and predict problems and to propose and implement solutions
- Ability to communicate accurately, both verbally and written, in English
- Ability to work in an agile environment with fast reactions to necessary changes
- Strong problem analysis expertise
Technical Expertise:
- Adept at the use of power BI and power BI robots and optimizations.
- Understanding database operations and optimization for SQL server
- Understanding data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP and ETL.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) .
- Knowledge of data mining techniques and tools is an asset.
Work Environment:
Only Quebec residents will be considered for this position. This is a “work from home” position, on-site meetings will be required on occasion. Walsh will provide the necessary equipment required but the employee is responsible to provide an uninterrupted home workspace with basic office furnishings.
Job Type: Hybrid Remote, Full-time.
Salary: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
