The duties and responsibilities of the Bookkeeper/Accountant include, but are not limited to the following:
Full cycle bookkeeping/accounting.
Accumulating and consolidating all financial data necessary for accurate financial reporting.
Reconcile monthly balance and income reports.
Prepare financial statements on a monthly basis.
Post journal entries and balance general ledger accounts.
Manage all Account Payables, Receivables, and Payroll.
Preparation and review of all Receivable invoicing.
Remittance filing for HST, WSIB, Payroll Taxes.
Organize and file materials electronically.
Various office administrative duties in a fast paced environment required.
Other directives as requested by management.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 2 - 4 years of full cycle accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (excel, word, etc.). Produce work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to re/prioritize and manage conflicting priorities. High flexibility and strong interpersonal skills. Analytical skills with a focus to detail and accuracy.
