What we're looking for
HiNeon is a fast-growing LED neon sign manufacturer based out of Vancouver, Canada. We specialize in the design and manufacture of custom and pre-built modern neon signs/artwork. We mainly work with business clients from Canada and the U.S through our online B2B channel. We’re now looking for a senior full stack web developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:

Develop WooCommerce store (write child theme) following UX design.

Develop custom web features to enhance the user experience.
-
Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
-
Perform all activities in the web development life cycle (Plan, Implement, Test, Document, Deploy, Maintain).

Troubleshooting website issues (front end and back end).
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.

5+ years of experience as WordPress Developer, 2+ years of experience with WooCommerce.

Decent knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.

Familiar with UX and mobile development.
-
Familiar with MySQL database development, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization.

Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.

Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

Good communication skills in written and verbal English.

Ability to project manage.
Good to Have:

Good understanding of SEO.

Proficient in using Python.

Experience with ChatGPT.
