NextStar Energy (NSE) is an innovative joint venture company between LG and Stellantis. It will be Canada's first large-scale lithium-ion battery production plant when it begins production at the Twin Oaks site in Windsor, Ontario. The manufacturing facility will have an annual targeted production capacity in excess of 49 gigawatt hours and will create an estimated 2,500 new jobs in Windsor and the surrounding areas.

IT Infrastructure Specialists oversee the IT Infrastructure based on company-wide security policies and are responsible for managing and improving the IT Infrastructure in order to increase the IT service level.
Responsibilities:

Advise the Headquarter Responsible IT Infrastructure Department about IT Infrastructure.

Establish the monitoring system of IT Infrastructure to secure the operational continuity of Applications including Manufacturing Execution System & Other Systems.

Implementing projects to enhance the operational continuity IT Infrastructure (Network Circuit, Application Server and Clients, etc.).

Implementing projects to enhance the information Security (Server Security, Network Security, and Client Security) co-worked with Headquarter.

Attend the Company-Wide IT Infrastructure Council, check company-wide policy directions, and apply to the business site.

Manage IT Investment, IT Expense, IT Assets and IT Helpdesk Support Headquarter Common System related to Portal, Groupware and Domain, etc.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering.

2 or more years of proven experience in Information Technology.

Network Engineer or Server Admin or Client Management preferred.

Self-Directed and ability to work in a diverse workforce.

Ability to solve problems by proactively collaborating with cross-functional teams on issues.

The willingness and ability to work flexible hours occasionally to support team.

Participate in remote meetings with LG-Energy Solution Teams as needed.

Effective communication and presentation skills.

MS Office tool-based report writing and oral communication skills.

Network Engineer or Server Admin or Client Management preferred.

Bilingual skills, writing and speaking, in English and Korean preferred.
