Roska DBO is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Business Analyst with expertise in Excel and database management to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and managing data, creating and maintaining Excel-based applications, and utilizing database tools like Knack to support our business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements to identify data needs and develop efficient solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain Excel-based applications, templates, and reports to facilitate data analysis and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain Excel-based solutions, including complex spreadsheets, macros, and VBA scripts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, formulas, and macros to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
- Develop and maintain robust data models and structures within Knack, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Conduct data analysis, interpret findings, and present actionable insights to support business decision-making.
- Generate reports and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators and trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis and database management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, macros, and VBA programming.
- Experience working with database management tools like Knack or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data structures, and database concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
- Must possess a clean driver’s abstract and have reliable transportation as traveling between our multiple locations is required.
- Position requires long periods of sitting at a desk, typing, viewing a computer screen, etc.
