We are looking for a dedicated professional who possesses strong interpersonal skills, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and a passion for building and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and expand our existing customer base by identifying potential clients, setting up meetings, and presenting them with our extensive range of wood products
- Utilize your exceptional sales skills to negotiate and close deals effectively, resulting in increased revenue and market share
- Understand customer needs and provide suitable product recommendations, ensuring that they are receiving the best solutions tailored to their specific requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market insights, and competitive offerings to retain a competitive edge and actively contribute to business growth
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to accurately track sales activities, customer interactions, and product inquiries
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, production, customer support, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of orders and deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, forecasts, and reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and potential growth opportunities
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the woodworking, construction, or millwork industries
- Excellent understanding of customer relationship management techniques and CRM software to efficiently manage sales pipelines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to confidently interact with clients, including excellent presentation and public speaking abilities
- Able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, even in highly competitive markets
- Creative independent thinker
- Availability for travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients, attend industry trade shows, and generate new leads
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
