The Technical Sales Specialist plays a strategic role within the Industrial Reliability Solution Business Unit by exercising a strong influence with industrial customers who experience challenges in keeping their assets available and productive. Your technical expertise provides value to the sales team and customers to fully understand solutions that are customized for asset criticality, provide constant monitoring and identify failure risk in multiple industries. You are actively demonstrating Laurentide’s capacity to partner with customers in their journey to be Top Quartile in their industry so Laurentide can achieve our purpose to help industry thrive in Eastern Canada.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Your understanding of industries and industrial processes allows you to influence market penetration strategies-
You own Industrial Reliability Solution growth plans, pricing strategies, sales pursuits, and product initiatives within a territory / group of accounts

You work with account managers in analyzing the customer's reliability and training requirements to close business through acceptance of the selected solution

You play an essential role in expanding the industrial reliability product lines with strategic accounts

You call and visit customers in Atlantic Canada to develop our Industrial Reliability Solution business
-
You share with customers the value of the proposed solution and return on their investment so they can see themselves thriving in their industries

Your expertise allows you to develop strong relationships with customers through genuine intentions, the highest levels of integrity, unmatched capabilities, and by delivering proven results
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering-
Excellent Industrial Reliability product and services knowledge

Strong and relevant experience in technical support, direct sales or project management and/or comparable experience as a Technical Account Manager or Sales Engineer

Effective communication skills

Effective problem-solving skills
-
Business acumen, effective analytical skills and decision-making
