We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Bilingual Customer Service Representative with expertise in Accounts Receivable and Payable processes for a client in Kitchener. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, be fluent in both English and French, and have a solid understanding of financial transactions and customer service principles. This role requires the ability to interact effectively with customers, resolve inquiries, manage invoices, and ensure timely payments.

Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing assistance related to billing, payments, and account inquiries.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate responses to customer queries.
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate and issue invoices to clients accurately and on time.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Follow up on overdue accounts, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
- Reconcile discrepancies in payments and resolve billing disputes.
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Process payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized records of payables and expenses.
- Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records related to accounts receivable and payable.
- Prepare and maintain various reports, summaries, and analyses related to financial transactions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, operations, and finance, to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes.
- Provide support during audits and financial reviews as needed.
- System Utilization:
- Utilize relevant software and accounting systems to input and retrieve financial data.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within financial systems.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of financial and customer service procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in both English and French (verbal and written) is required.
- Customer Service Representative and in Accounts Receivable and Payable functions.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, billing, and payment processes.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to address customer and financial issues.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
