Join our award-winning team and make a difference that defines you. RVA is seeking a self-motivated Network Administrator to join our Toronto office and to be an integral part of our IT team. Duties: • Upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain computer networks across multiple sites. • Configure network hardware including servers, routers, firewalls, and switches.
- Provide support to resolve escalated help desk issues. • Perform network security measures and monitor for threats. • Manage file servers and scheduled back-ups. • Deploy and update company-wide software.
- Support and administer third-party applications. • After hours network server maintenance. Qualifications: • College level program in an applicable computer science concentration • 5-7 years experience supporting server and network systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting O365, AD, Windows Server and Desktop admin, Windows Support, Core networking. • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies • Knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure. • Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking. • Some travel required.
